Robert Fancher has degrees for Radio-TV-Film from the University of Texas at Austin. He receieved both B.S. and M.A. from the Communication College at UT Austin.
He played football in high school. Robert was a defensive tackle for a team led by a highly regarded football coach. He pioneered as a radio DJ for student radio in his undergrad. Robert really enjoyed hosting live music events on the FM radio. He worked with Radio-TV-Film scholars during grad school. His original research thesis notes community-building in message board social networks made by dance music fans.

New Media Technology can be described as a history story, or it could be called an interactive template for digital users.
Music, video, and digital images have all been called new media at certain times.
Video games have many similar properties that reveal themselves as ideal training grounds for the military as well as entertainment for the mass audience.
While the beginning of this age saw their use as little more than calculators for slow board games, by the late 1950s and 60s the hardware was used to run in real-time alongside a game in order to calculate specific results for each move. This brought much needed mathematical components to these board games that otherwise would be used without much precision at all.
